Scouts BSA Summer Camp

Troop 161 attends summer camp at Tomahawk Scout Camp near Birchwood, Wisconsin, on the shores of Long Lake. Summer camp is about more than having fun. Scouts can sign up for a wide variety of program activities, most of which apply toward merit badge requirements. Program activities range from archery to forestry and kayaking to sailing and woodworking. In addition to individual activities, Scouts from the Troop will undertake conservation and service projects as well as group activities such as hiking or mountain biking.

Cub Scout Summer Camp

Pack 161 usually attends summer camp at Phillippo Scout Camp near Cannon Falls, Minnesota. Cub Scouts get to participate in activities to learn a variety of age-appropriate skills as well as engage in fun things like swimming while still learning about water safety.
